You can find the site where Open AI offers its smart chat at this link: https://chat.openai.com/chat. Once you select the address, the system will run a short security test, which you don't have to worry about - assuming you're not a bot.
GPT chat login - how does it work?
Once you enter the chat page, you have the option of logging in or registering a new account. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not allow you to use the system without entering your data. Therefore, choose the faster option: Sign in, then use, for example, your Google account To log into GPT Chat.
GPT Chat will ask you to enter your name. This is required by the artificial intelligence to communicate with you about your name. By providing your information, you also confirm that you are at least 18 years old (required by law).
The next step, after briefly introducing yourself to the chat, is the second verification step. The GPT chat will ask you for your phone number, to which a verification code will immediately be sent, which you will have to enter in the next step.

When you want to start a conversation with Open AI, there is a box at the bottom of the screen where you can type your question. By default, Chat GPT answers in English (you can find out if you type a random string of characters that makes no logical sense), but just say "hello" in Polish and the system will immediately understand what language you want to answer in.
When communicating with Chat GPT, one should pay attention to the way the question is asked. Although it is an artificial intelligence designed to best understand the questioner's statements, it is a good idea to ask specific questions that will minimize the risk of an error resulting from the chat not understanding the question.
GPT chat at school - is it a good tool?
Yes and no. Yes, because it allows quick access to information gathered on the Internet and often gets to the heart of the question. On the other hand, GPT chat answers many questions in the same way.
So: the order of reading Chat GPT looks the same for anyone who chooses to copy content directly from the website. As for mathematical operations, the system handles them in many cases (and, as you can see in the figure below, explains where the result came from), but does not work with 100% efficiency.
Preparing material for a lesson with Chat GPT is perfectly fine - but we're talking about notes from which the student extracts knowledge - and checks their compliance .
Thinking of intelligent GPT Chat as an ideal helper that will do everything for you is rather pointless, since it has been shown repeatedly that artificial intelligence often presents incorrect facts (we wrote about this in our column).

- GPT Chat is constantly learning and improving. Each week it becomes more accurate and answers questions more naturally.

- Many of the answers provided by Chat GPT are identical. Therefore, it is better not to use them as "unique" content on your pages, in written works, etc.
- The GPT Chat bot speaks multiple languages (including Polish) and you don't need to change anything in the settings. All you have to do is chat in a specific language and the system will automatically detect it.
- GPT chat answers are a good way to improve your work, but make sure they are correct. Students, for example, appreciate them.
Does Chat GPT have any disadvantages?
It may seem that the Open AI tool is bug-free. It answers a lot of crazy questions without hesitation and handles many mathematical tasks.
However, it is not so colorful. First of all, GPT chat knows what happened until 2021. If you ask the chat room what happened in 2022, it will answer that it does not go back to that date.
It is also important to note what is always presented as a weakness of artificial intelligence. It is still artificial intelligence that does not have independent thought . The bot knows how to react because that's how it was trained. However, it cannot think in the way that characterizes a human - that is, independently. That's why it shouldn't be surprised by errors, which often result from a misunderstanding of a question that hasn't been fully specified.
