The Google Discover page is a key part of an Android phone's home screen. It's the far left panel of the home screen on most phones and a great resource for discovering new content and staying up to date on the latest world events and topics that interest you. Google Discover was initially only available for the Pixel. However, the home screen panel has become part of most premium and budget Android phones. If your phone doesn't provide access to Discover from the home screen, you can access it from within the Google app.

How to customize Google Discover content recommendations

Before you quit Google Discover, you can adjust your content recommendations to see if that helps.

Go to Google Discover website On your phone.
Tap on three dot menu at the bottom of the tab to display content you don't want to see.

Depending on your preference, choose whether you are not interested in a particular topic, do not want content from that source to appear in Discover, or do not want to see that particular content.
If you don't like the advertisement displayed in Discover, tap the icon menu button. On the Google Ad Center page that appears, report or block this ad.

You can enhance Google Discover's personalized suggestions by blocking unwanted sources and spammy content. Also, if you don't want YouTube videos to appear in Discover, you can block them. This improves the content, making it more relevant to your tastes and preferences.

How to remove Google Discover panel from your phone

Unlike other home screen panels on your phone, you can't delete the Google Discover page. To get rid of the panel, you need to disable this feature.

Move to Google Discover website on the phone's home screen or open the file Google app.

Get General.

Turn off Discover switch.

When you deactivate the Discover page, it does not appear when you open the Google app. If you want to disable automatic video preview playback, tap Automatic playback of video previews and select Never option.

How to remove Google Discover panel from Samsung phone

On the best Samsung phones, you can remove the Discover panel from the One UI home screen, but have the feature enabled.

Press and hold the home screen of your Samsung phone.
Swipe right to the far left of the home screen.

To convert Google Discover to Samsung Free, Samsung's solution to Discover, select Samsung for free From the list.
If you don't want any of them, toggle the switch at the top to Turned off.

How to disable the Discover tab in Google Chrome
